2007 Rockwood Robotics Team
Team 1098 consists of students from Rockwood’s four high schools. This is our fifth year competing in the St. Louis FIRST Regional at the Family
Arena, which is Thursday through Saturday, March 1 – 3.
We meet Mondays through Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The robot ship date is Tuesday, February 20. If school is closed for bad weather, there will be no work session that day. As the ship date approaches, there may be additional work time scheduled.
We are very appreciative of the contributions of Pfizer, Inc., Lafayette High School, Marquette High School, Rockwood Summit High School, and Eureka High School for contributing to this year’s team. Lafayette High School graciously allows us to store our equipment and materials and to use the metals and woods lab to build our robot.

My name is Debbie Simpson, and I work for the Rockwood School District in the Partners in Education Department.
Green Pines Elementary is having a Young Learners Conference on March 14 & 15, 2007 from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM where each grade and class will experience the different science programs that are stationed around the school. I was wondering if you could help with this program. I would like to know what kind of programs you have, and if you or someone from your team is available to help out. They would like to have you both day’s, but if you are only available one day that would be great.
